Everyone's gotta vent

Lets face it... Even us poets need to vent and what a better way than to write....

Not ready

I can't shake this feeling
I really need to know

A long life

What makes someone a role model....

This is my definition of a role model.....

How old do you have to be
To be a role model
How close do you have to be
To be a rold model
What experiences should you have
To be a role model

You don't have to be perfect
Face it
No one is
But if you want
To impact their life
You should try your best
To walk the walk
To talk the talk
Try to back what you say
With how you act

All I'm trying to say is
Be real
Be yourself
Be a friend
If you try to walk the walk and talk the talk
They will see and they will understand

What does friendship mean?

True friendship is an awesome thing. This poem was on my mind for a while. This is also one of my favorites. It is the first poem ever to be written due to inspiration from a friend. I am glad this friend liked it and now I can share it publicly so you can enjoy it also.




What is true friendship?

Being there
Has different meanings
Can be expressed
In some different ways

Being there
Doesn't only mean
Being right next to them

Talking on the phone

Friends can be there

Why

I wrote this one because I was having some issues. I wanted to know my identy right away. I needed to know my purpose. But the truth is, God is the only one who knows our purpose in life. Since he does know, we just need to trust him.
