Poetry is my therapy... does not always take my sadness away but it helps me express it. Especially when no one is available to talk.

Can’t hold it anymore

I can’t hold this anymore
Three words
Need to be said
I miss you
My friends might be tired of hearing it
But I can’t hold this in
Anymore
I just can’t
It needs to be said
Though you cannot hear
I miss you
I always have
I always will
No one can ever know
How much you mean to me
I miss you
I can’t say it enough
I just can’t hold it in anymore
Planting flowers
Talking to you
Laughing with you
Baking with you
Cooking with you
I miss you
I miss it all
I know saying it
Won’t change anything
Won’t bring you back
But at least I am honest
