This one I wrote because I am still fighting regrets. I loved him and I always will.

I have so many regrets
Things I should have said
Times I should have visited
Times I should have called
Breaks my heart
I feel bad
I always loved you
I always will love you

I want to move forward
Get rid of the regrets
Do what I can
To make you proud
I will get through this
Have to hold my head high
Hold you close to my heart

A Hero of Mine

I wrote this for my grandpa. He died May 2, 2010 from a massive heart attack. RIP Grandpa! You are loved and missed!

He was my hero
He was my teacher
He was a leader
Full of love
Unconditional
Worked on homework with me
Taught me how to carve a pumpkin
Taught me to appreciate life
I loved hearing stories
Always felt loved
I miss his hugs
Working in the yard
Sitting in the sun
Embracing life
I miss him
I always will
He was my grandpa
