Friends can be there
For each other
When it matters most

Up the street
Through the state
Across the country
True friends

Dad

I wrote this for dads.

Dads
They form a connection with you
One that can’t be shared with mom

They take care of you
They take care of the home
They make you breakfast
They take care of you when you are sick
They know how to spoil you
They know how to make you laugh
They almost always have an answer
They love to be included
They love to include you
They are dedicated
They are leaders and role models

My dad does all this
My dad does more
My dad is my best friend

I was nervous
In the beginning
Didn't want to scare you away
Didn't want to be too open
Or too honest
Just looking for a friend

Abandoned

Not going to go into the entire situation but in the last month I have been feeling abandoned. Talking to friends and praying has helped me realize that no matter what happens God will never abandon me.

What’s going on

Feeling abandoned
Is not fun
Never will be
But sometimes
